Kadwa is among the most demanding handloom techniques practised in Banaras — each motif is woven as an individual, self-contained unit rather than carried across the width of the fabric. The result is a saree with no floating threads on the reverse, only the clean, deliberate mark of a weaver working motif by motif.

This piece was handloomed over 24 days by a master-weaver family in the Sarai Mohana cluster of Varanasi, working from a pit loom passed down through three generations. Zariora works with these families directly, at fair wages, with no middlemen.

Dry clean only. Store folded in a breathable muslin cloth, away from direct sunlight and humidity. Refold along a different crease every few months to protect the zari from wear along a single line.

Dispatched within 3–5 business days in tamper-evident packaging, with complimentary delivery across India. International shipping available at checkout. Unworn pieces with tags intact may be returned within 7 days of delivery.
